Okay, don't get mad at me, but I'm not being a very good Tiger fan today. I had a dental appointment this morning, and they informed me that one of my teeth is cracked and needs a crown ASAP.
So I've been avoiding reality all morning and haven't checked the scores...how are they doing?
Oh, also. She changed her name from Laura to Agyness? That's stupid. Agyness (Or Agnes, as every 100 year old woman named that spells it) is an ugly name.
lol...no. I'm telling you...that crown talk threw me for a loop. They said it's going to be $1300 to fix it!!!!! I about passed out. And then she said, "Well, you split it up into two payments,
so it's not all at one time." Like that was supposed to help.
I KNOW, right? That's the price without insurance. I don't have dental. We have a client who is an endodontist, so I called her today to see if she would take a look at it. I'm just irritated
that they expect me not to bat an eye at that price tag! They were trying to get me to schedule it before I left today!
I paid $1500.00 out of pocket for my tooth implant and that was with insurance. It was so worth it to me though. But it is amazing how expensive dental work is. Hope you can get it fixed soon!!
(sorry didn't mean to butt in lol and I didn't know who agyness is, I like her better with the short pixie hair).
My husband gets his dental work done in Ukraine. He paid, I think, about $150 for a crown last time we were there. He's been going to the same dentist since he was little and they have a
state-of-the-art facility.
The reason it annoyed me so much is that I can quote someone $1300 for something (draperies, sofa, bedding, chandelier, rug, etc., etc.) and they will all think I've lost my mind. But NO, the
dentist says it's $1300 and they want you to pull out your checkbook RIGHT THEN and cut them a check for $600+!!!!!!! The receptionist chick was sort of rude about it too. I finally just said,
"I can't schedule this right now because I can't afford it. I'm sorry." What do they want me to do? Write them a check and let it bounce? At least with our clients we try to ascertain what
their budget is first, and then we work with them to find a fair price!
I'd fly to Ukraine to pay $150 for a crown. So what if the ticket and hotel round the whole ordeal out to $1300. At least I've gotten a little bit out of the experience!
Welcome to the wonderfully random world of syako. I figured it was about time I had my own little place in Sugar land where the few of you who consider me a friend could learn more and be updated about my comings and goings. You know, the important stuff! Some will be private, others will just simply be for the nifty group tracker tool. Either way it will be lots of fun.

Post a CommentMe too. I have a terrible soft spot for cropped cuts.

Tell Conservative peeps!!
Yes, yes. I just need to scan it in.
She looks cute and young with the shorter hair. I like cuts like that, just not on me.
How do you pronounce this chick's name? I've never known.
ag-ness
She's a cutie patootie!
Oh.
I feel dumb.
Don't! Her real name is Laura. Once she started modeling she changed it. It is a little silly spelling.
how bout them tigers RCL?

THEY JUST WON!

Oh, YAY!!!!

Yea because two payments of $650 is peanuts...

RCL - my mom just got a tooth replaced. That was basically her price with insurance..!
aw man now I feel like a b-word! I just meant that agy is not this amazing superstar name that would warrant changing.
Gosh I'm such a jerk
haha, it's ok!
sometime I think my name is pretty stupid too (do you guys ever say your name over and over in your head and think, that sounds weird?)
Oh you really don't have to worry with me. Don't apologize for your personal taste.
Sy, yes. It starts to sound less personal if I hear it all the time. It's weird!
OMG, sometimes I find my own name to be hard to say. Or like, my mouth doesn't want to form the word because it's unnatural for me to say my name.

Not butting in!

Pardon my little rant, but here I go:

Perhaps a trip to Ukraine is in order?
Of course, the plane ticket and hotel will me
well over $600 or probably $1300.
That is frustrating. Maybe you could try to haggle? I'm sure the Dentist wants the money, and if he can get it for less, he might go for it.
