I would rather take care of myself than rely on the gov't to take care of me or my children. The government is the most inefficient at spending money.
Looks better on you!!!!!

Aw, you guys are too sweet!
I think she's rocking it though!!
You both look FAB!!!
she looks cute, but i think you are cuter. Plus, you're not borderline anorexic, tanorexic, and cheesy-pose-orexic.
and does she have on like three rows of fake lashes, or what?
awww you guys are like twins!
Wow,this is almost the same, you both look nice
That b*tch!
It does look cute on her, though!
(And of course it looks great on you, too!)
I like them both but yours looks more natural and I think it suits you better.
You both look fantastic!!!
I am glad she got rid of her bob!!!!!
You're a trend setter, Sy!

How can I insert a picture in a reply (like this one)?
Long drawn out way... pretend your sending a private message... click add image. Go through the upload process... and then copy/paste the code in the comment box.
thank you!
This was me up until a year and a half ago when I started growing my hair out...
Kim, I haven't seen your picture before! So pretty!!!
Sy, you definitely look better...but hers is okay, too.
Who is your wedding dress designer? I love it, and it is very simple, like what I am looking for (I'm in the market for a wedding dress right now
).
Kim I love it!!! You should always wear your hair like that!! Short hair girls Unite!
You're so pretty!!
Watters Bridal. It was reasonably priced too!
Thanks everyone!
That's me: http://watters.com/wedding.php?weddingid=108
I love watters. My sis and I both had our dresses by them. (let me know if you need/want any more tips/advice/etc!)
LOL Sy! thank you very much (you too Tiff)... I had my hair short like that for 14 years and I wanted to try growing it out again and I'm liking it for now so I'm going to keep it longer for a while. Bit of a long story.. I was in an abusive marriage in my early twenties and my then husband wouldn't let me cut my hair. I had it long (longer than it is now).. even a trim would set him off and I'd pay the price. So when I divorced him my first line of business was to cut my hair short because I didn't have anyone telling me I couldn't.
and I kept it short at first as a rebellion but then I really liked it and didn't think I'd ever
go back to long hair. Until about a year and a half ago. It was just in the past few months that I realized that my ex didn't want me to cut my hair because he could easily use it as a weapon
against me (hold me down, drag me around, etc with it). It all made so much sense. I may go back to short hair some day but for now I like this.
Funny thing too was that Vic never knew me with long hair and he loved my short hair he always
said I looked like a pixie (and he meant that in a sweet, cute way lol).. but he loves my hair the way it is now too so that's a nice bonus.
oooh sy BEAUTIFUL!!! I just love your wedding!! it's so simple and elegant and you can see so much love in it (just from the pics I've seen obviously lol)
Thanks Kim! That's how we roll!
That's an interesting story. My hubby loves the short hair too!!
it was an interesting life sy.. stupid too. (on my part that is). and I didn't mean to bogart your thread
so BACK TO SY!!!
Kim, I'm glad you got out of that relationship. You are a beautiful, smart lady- and obviously a strong one, too.
Sy, that dress is more beautiful the more I saw of it! And so was your wedding. Thank you for introducing me to that designer! I just looked at some of her dresses on her site, and they even have some on preownedweddingdresses.com. Those prices are looking much better than the Priscilla of Boston that I tried on for over $3K (WAY out of my range), and loved. But, the great thing is that they are similar to the simple POB style that I love. Thanks very much!
No problem, kim! I'm glad you shared it. I agree with Tiff definitely! You are very smart, strong and BEAUTIFUL!
I believe the line retails at $700 - $1600 (at least it did when I got it in 2006). Mine was in the upper range because it's duchess silk satin, but my sister's was like $800. They also have GREAT bridesmaid dresses!!
That is not bad at all! I'm going to look as soon as we move at the end of the month.
